COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Kaleidoscope couldn’t exist without our community – since the beautiful colors, shapes, shadows, and light within the kaleidoscope are the members of our community. With that in mind, the immense support of our community made our 2016 a huge success. From our coalition, to volunteers to our growing partnerships, we are stronger because we are working together.

COMMUNITY COALITION

Met for winter and spring with a coalition of community members representing a cross-section of identifies, and organizations from the community.

NMSU

Partnered with NMSU for over 60 hours of donated student service in the spring semester alone!

VOLUNTEERS

Received around 3,200 hours of in-kind/volunteer support from community members over the course of the year

PARTNERSHIPS

Strengthened our partnerships (Optimist Club of Las Cruces, Safe Routes to Schools, Velo Cruces, Picacho Middle School, Beach Drummer Productions)
